As part of #UNCitiesDay yesterday, we celebrated local initiatives in various cities that are encouraging citizens to embrace circular thinking. One incredible community initiative in London helping people be more sustainable is Library of Things. Earlier this year, Co-Founder of Library of Things Rebecca Trevalyan explained what the company has taught her about how and why people change their behaviour. About us
The Circular Economy Club (CEC) is a non-profit, global and open club. Anyone can join the club online for free. The club exists to spur collaboration by connecting professionals, because together we can have a higher impact. Our activities are all about connecting professionals in the sector, facilitating knowledge exchange and providing relevant resources. Although the club was founded in London, CEC is ran voluntarily by engaged club members that are based all over the world. In addition to this core team, we have local organisers all around the world that organise circular economy events in their cities. Next to events, we also have a mentorship program with senior professionals in the field offering free advise on implementing circular economy strategy. These sessions can be won via social media campaigns. Resources and news on the circular economy is regularly posted on our websites and social media platforms.
