☀ This summer, we made an exciting addition to our delivery fleet with an Electric Luton van, brought on in partnership with Mango Logistics Group. This addition has more than doubled the average percentage of electric deliveries via our PODs compared to last year. ⚡ Beyond getting professional kitchens the food they need, when they need it, one of our core missions at Collectiv Food is to clean up our city’s air through our patented POD model. By consolidating orders and delivering by electric bikes and vans, we're reducing the number of polluting vehicles on the road, with potential to cut last-mile emissions by up to 75% compared to traditional delivery models. It’s a small step, but one we’re immensely proud of. As a small business, transitioning to 100% electric vehicles requires significant investment and infrastructure that is currently beyond our economic reach. Nevertheless, we're actively exploring options and partnerships to make this shift more viable over time. Every step we take to increase deliveries via our PODs brings us closer to this goal, and we're determined to continue progressing towards this future. So keep your eyes peeled, and if you see us out and about, be sure to give us a wave! 👋 #ElectricLutonVan #CleanAir #Innovation #LastMileDelivery

  • Pod Party 1.0 A few weeks ago we put on our first-ever POD Party co-hosted with the incredible team at symplicity foods. And what a day it was! We loved seeing people from across the industry come together, connect, share ideas and see our PODs up close and personal. And of course, it revolved around food and drinks. Starring symplycity's special edition smash burgers with Wildfarmed flour with drinks from MOMO Kombucha | B Corp™ Maison SASSY and 40FT BREWERY. A big thank you to everyone who joined us. Can't wait for the next one. 📸: Teo Della Torre

  • A fantastic day this week at Wildfarmed's Colleymore Farm! It's amazing to see the work they're doing to make regen-farming more accessible to both farmers and consumers. Such a passionate team and a pleasure to work with. A huge thank you to everyone who made the day happen! #regenerativeagriculture #lifechanging

Yesterday was truly inspiring! A couple of colleagues and I from Collectiv Food | Certified B Corp had the pleasure of attending Wildfarmed's Field Trip at their Colleymore Farm. Hearing their story and experiencing the magic of their regen-farmed wheat firsthand gave me so much hope. Their innovative approach, which fosters a diverse soil microbiome through a harmonious, input-free system, embodies the essence of 'biological, not chemical.' Paying a bit more for their flour is a small price to pay for the tremendous benefits it brings—from enhancing farmer welfare to providing healthier food and preserving beautiful landscapes. This is the bright future of farming. Thank you to the Wildfarmed team for this brilliant day! 🌞 🌾

  • Another eye-opening day at Groundswell Agriculture. So many engaging ideas and people from all parts of the food system looking at how we can create better food systems in this country, better ways to access food, and increase the resilience of our food supply. One initiative that stood out to us is Foodprint Nordic's #Top50farmers. A big focus throughout the talks is the challenges that face regenerative farmers, our soils and our climate, but underneath this all is a challenge that is often forgotten, 👉 Just 3% of farm holders in the UK are under the age of 35. With many British (and EU) farmers on the cusp of retirement, and young people increasingly sidelining agriculture, we could be on the edge of a farming crisis. Top 50 Farmers is an initiative to celebrate new role models in agriculture, scale healthy soils and attract a new generation of farmers. “With the Top 50 Farmers platform we want to build the go-to place to unlock new opportunities for regenerative farmers. Our goal is for it to be a resourceful platform for everyone who wants to enter the space of regenerative agriculture.” The list will be published in November and we can’t wait to see it. It’s time to gives farmers the visibility and rewards they deserve. Big thanks to all the brilliant speakers and organisers who made the day happen. 👩🌾 👨🌾

  • Planet vs. Plastics: this year's #EarthDay theme is about working together to fight plastic ✊ The fact that plastic is polluting our planet is nothing new, but like all global challenges, the key to making any real change is to work as a collective. As a distributor, reducing the amount of plastic in our supply chain is much easier said than done. Plastic packaging serves a purpose in extending the life of many products we sell, and without it, we would see much more waste in our supply chain. But as you can't manage what you can't measure, we're harnessing the assessments of our trading products done by our partner, My Emissions, to establish a monitoring system of the quantity of plastic packaging throughout our supply chain - enabling the insights we need to make informed, targeted decisions about our packaging. A huge shout out to the team at My Emissions for making all this possible! AND also a second one to their incredible co-founders Matt and Nathan for making this years Forbes #30under30 🎉 🎉 🎉 #PlanetVsPlastics #EndPlastics
