We're excited to introduce the newest member of our global network: the Malaga Province Environment Foundation (MPEF)! Join us for a special webinar on Wednesday, April 30th, from 15:00-16:00 BST | 16:00-17:00 CEST. MPEF will open new funding channels from individuals and businesses who love Malaga Province (Andalusia), to support grassroots initiatives that protect and restore nature. This stunning region, rich in biodiversity, faces serious threats from climate change, tourism, and development. Local environmentalists are working tirelessly to safeguard these ecosystems, and the MPEF will provide them with funds and resources to amplify their impact, foster collaboration, and enhance community engagement. We are pleased to say that we're already over halfway to our €150,000 target (with annual commitments from the Marbella Club Hotel and Conservation Collective). MPEF will be part of Conservation Collective, a global network of 20 local environmental foundations founded by Ben Goldsmith. This network has raised over £17 million since 2020, through its model of place-based environmental philanthropy. The webinar will be hosted by founders: Ben Goldsmith & the Marbella Club Hotel, as well as MPEF’s Programme Manager Dr Lucia Vera, throughout this kick-off session we will: introduce the newly created MPEF and its vision, philosophy and environmental strategy, as well as explain how individuals and businesses can support MPEF's efforts and make a lasting impact. This online event will be a great opportunity to see how your support can make a real difference in conserving the Malaga Province's natural beauty.
