Coreus are delighted to announce that our Welbeck Health Partners Oxford site has received planning permission from Oxford City Council for an exciting new luxury medical facility! 🏥 Welbeck Oxford will deliver a 30,000 sq.ft state-of-the-art medical facility which will house an array of specialities, including Heart Health, Lung Health, Urology, Digestive Health, ENT, Endoscopy, and Neurology, providing a comprehensive suite of medical services. The Coreus team provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for this scheme, through RIBA Stages 1-3 and look forward to delivering successfully on-site. The planning application involved extensive extensions and renovations to an existing vacant office building, enhancing its exterior with new cladding, a brise soleil, and improved landscaping. This achievement reflects our positive collaboration with the Council’s Planning Officers during the pre-application and application process 🙌🏼 Construction is set to begin soon, with the facility anticipated to open its doors in 2025. Stay tuned for project updates as we move forward! Supporting the Armed Forces Covenant! 🌟 In our commitment to fairness and inclusivity, Coreus are now signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant. We are committed to honouring the Armed Forces Covenant and supporting the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value of Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families and their contributions to our business and country. Last year, we welcomed Harvey Stead MRICS as our Associate Director. Harvey is not only a vital leader at Coreus but also a proud Royal Marines Reserve Commando Reservist. Balancing various ambitions, Harvey first focused on his academic, athletic, and professional pursuits. He earned a degree in Quantity Surveying, entered the construction field, and became a Chartered Surveyor. After achieving Chartered status, he recognised the chance to embrace a new challenge by joining the Royal Marines Reserves. Following nearly 2 years of intensive training, Harvey is now a fully qualified Royal Marines Reservist, committed to both his military service and his construction career. Coreus is dedicated to supporting employees in the Armed Forces to fulfil their military obligations and endeavours. As we move forward, we look forward to strengthening our partnership with the Reserve Forces and proudly supporting the military community. Together, we can create meaningful change! #ArmedForcesCovenant #DiversityandInclusion #SupportOurTroops #ProudToServe

Coreus’ Zero Carbon Estates Networking Day 🌿 Coreus recently discussed the emerging challenges in the sustainability space, with estates leaders across both education and local authorities, at our Zero Carbon Estates Networking Day. We explored how climate resilience and risk management go beyond reducing environmental impact. Enhancing biodiversity plays a crucial role in supporting climate resilience and a broader sustainability strategy. Our team emphasised the importance of a data-driven approach to gain support and focus resources on key issues, demonstrating long-term benefits. It’s clear that public estates face many competing priorities, making a robust sustainability strategy essential. Our team of James Colthart and Neville Coles are at Education Estates conference in Manchester this week - get in touch with them to discuss more around our work in the sector. Thank you to Gordano School for hosting our event and Futura Learning Partnership, Bridgwater & Taunton College, The Priory Learning Trust and Lighthouse Schools Partnership for attending. Together, let’s continue to strive for a greener future! #Sustainability #ClimateResilience #Biodiversity #PublicEstates
