  • We’re proud to announce that we’ve received planning approval from Stroud District Council for our latest development of 17 high-quality homes in the beautiful village of Coaley near Stroud. This project is a major step forward in delivering much-needed housing to the area, including 35% affordable housing—exceeding the local policy requirement of 30%. But that’s not all—our commitment to sustainability means these homes will achieve up to a 75% reduction in carbon emissions compared to current Building Regulations standards. Head of Land department, James Durant, shared his thoughts: “The standard of debate among councillors was among the highest I’ve seen, and great credit must go to the Council’s planning and legal teams. It was also encouraging to hear support for SME housebuilders, who play a vital role in tackling the housing crisis.” A councillor further highlighted the importance of supporting small and medium-sized developers to ensure a balanced and effective solution to the UK’s housing shortage. This development reflects our ongoing commitment to building sustainable, high-quality homes while supporting local communities and contributing to solving the national housing crisis. #CotswoldHomes #NewHomes #Coaley #Stroud #AffordableHousing #Sustainability #SMEConstruction #UKHousingCrisis #CommunityBuilding
