The Kabaddi World Cup came to Coventry Building Society Arena yesterday and fans were treated to five exhilarating matches! It's the first time the event has been held outside of Asia and it's here in the West Midlands until Sunday 23 March when the final is set to take place in Wolverhampton. Young people will often lose key relationships, their home and significant levels of both practical and financial support. Our Lifelong Links programme is an innovative programme which helps to establish strong and long-lasting relationships between the young people and those who matter most to them. Primary school children from across the city took part in a kabaddi tournament earlier today at Coventry Building Society Arena to celebrate the arrival of the Kabaddi World Cup which comes to Coventry tomorrow! The youngsters have been learning how to play the sport thanks to Sky Blues in the Community delivering a kabaddi programme to schools over recent months in partnership with the Council and United By 2022 Charity. The day was also supported by Sporting Equals and Coventry Building Society. ⤵️ Check out the video below to see how the kids got on!

🎉 We're excited to announce that GRAHAM Group has been appointed to complete the construction of the City Centre Cultural Gateway – a landmark cultural hub for Coventry! This ambitious project will transform the city’s former IKEA building into a world-class cultural destination. We’ll be delivering this with our project partners - Arts Council England, British Council and CV Life. Coventry University will occupy two floors of the building. GRAHAM brings extensive expertise in delivering high-profile projects and will play a vital role in bringing this vision to life.
