WATCH: the Rural Transport Accelerator supports the development of innovative concepts that will improve rural transport, aiming to boost the wellbeing of communities, support workers in rural communities and kickstart local economies. One of the eight projects supported through the accelerator, called IVORA (Increasing Vehicle Occupancy in Rural Areas), is being taken forward by Mobilityways. The project has installed technology at a hospital car park in Norfolk that helps to identify staff who could benefit from sharing vehicles with colleagues living in rural areas nearby.
