𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶-𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻!
These awards are designed to support the translation and commercialisation of crop based agri-tech innovations.
Proof-of-Concept Awards: £5,000 to £20,000 (no FEC)
Project Awards: £20,000 to £150,000 (no FEC)
𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• Crop based agriculture/horticulture. We are unable to fund livestock research at this time.
• Translational research – projects should be translational with commercial goals, not basic research
• Applicants must be researchers at UK University or EPSRC approved RTO
• You have not already spun a company out
• Impact in Lincam – You do NOT need to be based in the Lincam region (Lincolnshire and N. Cambridgeshire) but your project should have relevance for the region e.g. focussed on a crop grown in the region or technology growers in the regions can use.
• 50% EPSRC scope – Projects should be at least 50% EPSRC scope e.g. AI, Robotics, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Material Science, Data, Software.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
• Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form by the 19th May 2025
• The EOIs enter a review process
• The Ceres team will contact you with the outcome
• If the project is chosen to progress, the Ceres team will discuss your project with you and work with you to develop a project plan and pitch deck
• Pitch to investment Committee – you will hear the outcome within 48 hours
• Start your project and your commercialisation journey with Ceres support
