Today, we heard key voices from the National Cyber-Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) ecosystem, in conversation about: converging tech and cross-cutting capabilities, how we are transforming data sharing infrastructure, and the role of living labs. The forum presented the NCPI programme with the opportunity to share its recommendations - with industry experts and policy makers moving the discussions forward together for next steps. A new digital platform called CReDO+ (Climate Resilience Decision Optimiser) is set to help safeguard power networks against the effects of climate change. ⚡CReDO+ is one of three UK Power Networks projects that secured funding from the Strategic Innovation Fund, an Ofgem programme managed in partnership with Innovate UK, to start large-scale trials. ⚡UK Power Networks is developing Credo+ with partners including Connected Places Catapult, COMPUTATIONAL MODELLING CAMBRIDGE LIMITED , STFC Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC Hartree Centre and STFC Scientific Computing’s DAFNI: Data & Analytics Facility for National Infrastructure), Cadent Gas Limited, National Gas, SP Energy Networks, National Grid Electricity Transmission, National Energy System Operator, Anglian Water, Thames Water, BT Group and the The University of Edinburgh.    ⚡"Over the next three years, CReDO+ will work on expanding its impact by making its digital twin technology accessible for more regions and sectors. “Digital planning is fundamental to public sector reform. The current way in which it supports many local authority services is a challenge.” Theo Blackwell MBE, Chief Digital Officer, Greater London Authority said in the session 'The Transformation of Place through Digital Infrastructure and Planning'.
