Established in 2004, the business was specifically created to provide advice on the largest, most complex and challenging development propositions in Central London. Since then it has grown to a company of around 70 employees working primarily on projects in London and the South East.
At DP9, we have a proven track record of delivering high profile planning consents, and we are currently advising on more than 500 live projects. These range from small to large scale projects and complex master planning proposals across all sectors.
We provide specialist expertise and advice on planning strategies, the preparation of planning application submissions and negotiations throughout the entire approvals process.

A brilliant morning - thanks all for coming along!
We were delighted to be able to host, alongside DP9 Limited, a breakfast event focussed on the future of the Royal Borough of Greenwich The Leader of the Council Anthony Okereke was joined by Cllr Aidan Smith, Cabinet Member for Regeneraton, Pippa Hack, Director of Regeneration and Victoria Geoghegan, Assistant Director Planning and Building Control. The conversation focussed on how the Housing Our Greenwich agenda will seek to transform the lives of residents and how the opportunities now presented by a Labour Council, Mayor and Government can help. Summer is here ☀ Last Friday, the DP9 team got their walking boots on and made the most of the sunshine. The team set off from Kew Bridge heading down the river to Hampton Court Palace. 3 hours later… (for those who didn't take a shortcut) we finished the day with a well-deserved drink in a local pub! 🍹

Thanks to DP9 Limited for hosting the third cohort of our Emerging Talent Programme, where our candidates got to meet their mentors who will provide invaluable support throughout the programme. The emerging talent group also spent the morning with DP9 colleagues. It was great to learn more about the UK’s planning system, as well as the role of a planning consultancy. Guests were treated to speeches, debate and Q&A from a range of voices involved in the future of London’s built environment on the opportunities the London Plan brings to the capital as well as where it could be improved. It was our pleasure to welcome UCL students on the Urban Design and City Planning course to our offices last week. In conjunction with our clients Lendlease, we delivered a session on a ‘Day in the Life’ of a planning consultant and developer. We also organised a networking session for the students where they had the opportunity to talk to our junior staff about the world of planning consultancy. Thanks Lauren Kehoe for your informative talk and to all the students for being so engaged. Hopefully, some of you will come and join us one day…!
