📣 Calling all experts! ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council are seeking members to join our Expert Advisory Group for data infrastructure and methods. Help us to shape ESRC's investments in #datainfrastructure. We're looking for folk with experience in one or more of the following: ➡️ computational social science ➡️ data-driven research methods ➡️ development and use of election studies ➡️ development and use of international surveys ➡️ engagement with UK government ➡️ inclusive research design and inclusive teams ➡️ qualitative data analysis ➡️ secure data: inc. data access, and the work of statistical agencies ➡️ use and development of longitudinal studies ⏰ Time commitment: a 2-hour online meeting every quarter. You'll need a bit of prep time before each meeting to read papers, think up advice and prepare questions to ask us (we especially welcome the challenging kind!). 📅 Deadline: 3 December 2024, 4:00pm UK time.
