✨Making Fragrance✨ A big thank you to Mark Kayembe from Alea office furniture for inviting us to a Fragrance making/Networking event organised by the EcoScent team. Starting with a blind test, trying to recognize the smell of things which I got all wrong! Before mixing essences and creating a lovely bespoke diffuser. Did you know that not only what you see but what you smell when you arrive somewhere have an impact on how you feel and become part of an overall experience. What I will also remember is the comfort and the swiftness of the office chair. There is nothing like a good chair! We were touched by the general warmth and hospitality of the team. It’s what makes me want to work with suppliers, knowing that they are genuine human beings and that there is more than just a product behind them. To me, it’s part of the added value of a product and it makes me feel privileged to be part of a welcoming and inclusive industry. This networking event was a little bit more special than usual as I was joined by my lovely cousin Cécile Lecerf who arrived last night ahead of the Cognac show that she will attend later today, representing Spirit France in London Bridge. So instead of mixing Calvados, she was mixing fragrances ;) I am so proud of her, how she integrated to a new environment and her general achievement throughout her career.
