🌞 Building Trust, Preserving Land: Non-Intrusive Surveys for a Sustainable Future. What a fantastic day on-site with our amazing partners from Magnitude Surveys, reviewing their exceptional work on the geophysical surveys for the Great North Road Solar Park. It was a highly productive day! Not only did we witness the impressive quality of the ongoing surveys, but also had the chance to engage with a local landowner who was initially unfamiliar with the process. After a clear and open discussion, we were able to fully reassure them about the non-intrusive and respectful nature of the work. Thanks to this positive exchange, they kindly granted us additional access to begin surveys on their land. 🙌 When conducting geophysical surveys, it’s completely natural for landowners to have concerns about potential disruption to their property. However, the surveys are conducted with minimal impact, and the professionalism of the team reassured all parties involved. It’s a great reminder that success in renewable energy projects relies on strong partnerships, clear communication, and a genuine respect for both the land and the people we work with. A huge thank you to the team for their commitment and to the landowner for their trust 🌍 Please note that the video in this post is a promotional video from our partners Magnitude Surveys. This is not one of Elements Green’s projects. #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #Collaboration #GeophysicalSurveys #Sustainability #ProjectUpdate #GreatNorthRoadSolarPark #TeamWork #Partnerships #CleanEnergy

Yesterday, I spoke at NET ZERO EUROPE - Solar & Energy Storage. I shared what #EU policy can do to support investments for scaling solar and storage. To overcome the gap between current deployment and targets, we need policy on 4 areas. I call these GEPS. 🔌GRIDS: With the EU Grid Action Plan, the new Commission has a great foundation - muuuuch more than just concepts of a plan. Now, its time to put the plan into action! 🔋ELECTRIFICATION: This is a key part of the Clean Industrial Deal. Industry pays high taxes and fees on their electricity bills, harming competitiveness. Let‘s incentivize electrification for business, not penlize it. 📃PERMITTING: The Renwable Energy Directive (RED III) measures have great potential to accelerate permitting. This is now EU law, and needs to be implemented diligently on the national and local level. ⚙️SUPPLY CHAIN: Stable demand from project developers is critical for the supply chain to make investments. That’s why continuous growth in the renewables market is foundational to build up domestic supply chains. Thanks to my fellow panelists Renske Ytsma, Adriano Pallotta, Valérie Séjourné, Gianluca Boccanera, and Maxime van Steenberghe for the inspiring discussion. It was a pleasure talking about the solar business of Ørsted, learning more about this rapidly growing sector. Ørsted is known for its transition from fossil fuels to green energy, for its role as global leader in offshore wind. But solar is becoming increasingly important for the company, with almost 2GW installed. My key learning from today: solar and wind are best buddies. The two share the same interest and passion while complementing each other. 😀

It was a true pleasure to have Adriano Pallotta , Country Manager for Italy at Elements Green, speaking at NET ZERO EUROPE - Solar & Energy Storage at The Egg in Brussels, Belgium. Adriano joined an engaging panel discussion on “Investment Strategies for Scaling Solar and Energy Storage Projects,” alongside industry experts Markus Fischer from Ørsted, Valérie Séjourné from Solar Heat Europe (ESTIF), Renske Ytsma from DRI and Gianluca Boccanera from Starlight Energy. The session was expertly moderated by Maxime van Steenberghe from Circle Strategy. It was insightful to hear the panel delve into market trends, investment opportunities, risk mitigation, financial structuring, portfolio diversification, social and environmental impacts and the EU policy landscape. At Elements Green, we take pride in being at the forefront of the energy transition, focusing on utility-scale, ground-mounted solar PV systems and innovative battery storage solutions. 🌍☀️🔋 Thanks to NET ZERO EUROPE - Solar & Energy Storage for organizing this event. Great News!
Great news! The Nature Minister, Mary Creagh CBE MP, has confirmed our understanding that solar farms can actually provide a significant biodiversity net gain, up to 140% in some cases. This is a fantastic opportunity to diversify farm income while supporting nature conservation. We're thrilled to see the Minister's agreement on this important issue. #SolarFarms #Biodiversity #RenewablEenergy
