About us
Environmental Economics are long established energy and sustainability consultants who have been delivering solutions to some of Britain’s leading house builders, businesses and industries in the UK since 2007. Our team of experts and assessors work to deliver value-enhancing sustainability projects for our clients, specialising in low energy buildings. We search out the most cost-effective solutions that mitigate risk and deliver excellent financial value. We work with some of the largest UK house-builders including Barratt Developments, David Wilson Homes, Bellway Homes, Abbey Developments and Davidsons and issue Energy Performance Certificates for approximately 10,000 new-build plots every year. Our sustainability team provide Energy and Sustainability strategy reports for planning applications as well as BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments. In addition we have provided numerous sustainability assessments in support of Section 7 of the Scottish Standards. SAPs, renewable energy assessments and related design advice are provided by our team of experienced consultants. Having worked on projects across the United Kingdom, including London Plan energy reports, we are able to provide cost-effective advice for any planning condition requiring energy or carbon from renewables or fabric first strategies.
