About us
We are a group of industry professionals who want to support the emerging professionals actively engaged in a variety of areas of the Late Life & Decommissioning (LL&D) sector who are passionate about sharing their experience and skills within this key area of the energy transition. Our mission it is to create a community where like-minded individuals in LL&D, across all areas of the international energy industry, can share ideas and learn from one another in an engaging way whilst having fun. We hope to nurture both personal growth and technical development of our members whilst promoting opportunities and showcasing the sector as an exciting, challenging and diverse career path. Our aim is to, ultimately, promote professional decommissioning to ensure the industry benefits from a steady stream of motivated and talented minds to meet the many challenges on the road to Net Zero and beyond in order for those in the industry to have a fulfilling and prosperous career. Decom Week 2025 / Steering Committee The team at Decom Mission are getting into the details for the next occurrence of Decom Week, in May 2025. We are now calling for names to sit on the Steering Committee and would love to have EPLLD representatives help us shape the agenda and the themes for the week.
