Who else loves mood boards? Yes, January took forever (we're through it now!) - but you can be assured that all of the craziness of events season will be on us soon enough. We're looking towards silly season with a refined sense of what we loved about 2024, and how we want to scale that in 2025: 🎵 Music Festivals - We're dab hands at these events. Most of our team members were born and raised in the fields, and we build on our expertise every year with the addition of new technologies which make designing festivals better and better. 📐 Site Surveys - We carried out more surveys than ever before in 2024, and we're already set to break our record again this year with the work rolling in! Before things get too crazy, we're refining every little detail about our onsite work from our policies to our performance to ensure smooth growth. 🤩 The X Factors - Red Bull's Wings Through Tower Bridge stunt was our biggest 'Wow' event last year, and a fantastic joint accomplishment with Ops People. We're already in talks for some exciting new projects which have that star quality... 🎧 Concerts - With the concert industry going strong, we're happy to be able to deliver comprehensive support for venues of all shapes and sizes, indoor or outdoor! We were delighted to see the Crosstown Concerts team smash Bristol Sounds out of the park last year, following a smooth site build facilitated by our designs. ⛳ The High Seas & Low Greens - Yes, we're expanding further into the sporting industry this year! We worked on a variety of sailing and mega sporting competitions in 2024, and this year we'll be supporting some pretty incredible events... 🥘 Food Festivals - We're all big foodies at Event Site Design, and these events have a special place in our hearts. We're thrilled to be continuing our longstanding work with Pub in the Park Festivals with Tom Kerridge, and will be supporting the launch of their new Gunnersbury Park festival! What are you most inspired to achieve this year, and how have you set yourself up for success?

Event Site Design reposted this
A festival organiser came to us with a problem. Their site had lost a significant area due to new land restrictions, and their existing layout no longer worked. Stages, vendors, infrastructure—everything needed reconfiguring, and time was running out. We got to work. Rather than just squeezing everything into a smaller space, we redesigned the layout with crowd flow, access, and infrastructure in mind. We adjusted stage positions, rerouted services, and reallocated space to keep the event running smoothly. Every detail was mapped out accurately, so contractors knew exactly what to expect. The event went ahead without disruption. The organiser avoided last-minute logistical headaches, and the new layout even improved the experience for attendees. At Event Site Design, good planning isn’t just about fitting things in. It’s about making sure everything works.

So we didn't pick up an award this year... But we had the best night. 🎉 It was lovely to see everybody and get some drinks in whilst we caught up with clients and fellow suppliers. Nobody can say that we didn't bring the party - it's dreadful to think of what state we would all be in today if we HAD won. 🍾 Everything happens for a reason. Recover well everybody! The radio silence across the ESD team today is definitely the biggest giveaway to how much fun we had last night at the Festival Supplier Awards 2025...
Signs of a good night? 📸 I took barely any photos 😵💫 the room is spinning 🤔 I've not heard a wink from the team 🎙️ the amount of people I spoke to who praised the team we have ❤️ 🏆 we didn't win but was told by one judge the submission was the best they'd read (MASSIVE well done Jenny McDowell-Langford 👏🏼) Well done to all the winners of Festival Supplier Awards 2025 last night. Despite not picking up a win this year (well, you can't win every year!), I'm enormously proud 🙌🏼 And hungover. Back to work we go!
