🎨 Casey Gardner paints a bright future with Persimmon ✨ At just 19, Casey Gardner, an apprentice painter with Persimmon North Scotland, is already making waves in the construction and community sectors. Her dedication, talent, and hard work have earned her a place on our apprenticeship programme and a selection to compete at the prestigious World Skills Competition in China—a global stage for the best in vocational skills. From Fife College to working on Persimmon Homes sites around #Fife, Casey’s journey is a testament to the power of apprenticeships in shaping successful careers. This year, Casey had the honour of being the first apprentice hired through Fife College’s partnership with Persimmon. She even had the chance to showcase her skills when Cabinet Secretary for Education, Jenny Gilruth MSP, visited the college, and Casey demonstrated how to paint with her signature expertise. Casey is also making her mark on a community project—a beautiful traditional hobby horse sculpture at Kirkcaldy’s Esplanade, commissioned by the Showmen’s Guild and led by the #Kirkcaldy West Community Council. Her careful attention to detail is helping to bring this meaningful artwork to life. From her local community to the global stage, Casey is a true example of what dedication, passion, and a great apprenticeship can achieve. 👏🌟 #ScottishApprenticeshipWeek #SAW2025 #Apprenticeships #PersimmonHomes Ian MacPherson | Scott Lamond | James MacKay | Kevin Rees | David Lowe | John Roocroft | Jim Metcalfe | Graham Green | Scottish Apprenticeships
