Very excited to see Fife College leading the way on this and it has been great to see the teaching space develop over the last few months. Cannot wait to welcome all our new students to this course next week. Very hard to write this post without using “launch” or “taking off” puns. 🌍 For anyone curious about space and geospatial careers 🚀 I’ve had the privilege of working in Scotland’s space sector for the past several years. When I started out, I never imagined how vast and exciting this sector could be—from satellites monitoring climate change 🌱 to to improving disaster response efforts 🌊. Every day at Space Scotland brings new challenges, opportunities, and the chance to leave a meaningful impact. Along the way I've learned that the space and geospatial sectors are for everyone. You don’t need to come from a technical background or follow a traditional route to get involved. What matters is having curiosity, determination, and a willingness to learn. That’s why I’m thrilled to see initiatives like Fife College's Geospatial Foundation Skills course. It’s a UK-first, offering anyone—from school leavers to career changers—a chance to break into this exciting and fast-moving industry. 💡 Whether it’s tracking wildlife habitats, analysing traffic patterns, or conducting environmental monitoring, geospatial skills are transforming the world as we know it. If you’re at a crossroads in your career or just looking for a new direction, I encourage you to explore this opportunity. Scotland’s geospatial sector is booming—driving innovations in renewable energy, urban planning, and environmental management 🌱⚡. 📚 Apply for the Geospatial Foundation Skills course: https://lnkd.in/eqyYTMyz #WomenInSpace #Geospatial #SpaceSector #STEMCareers #Innovation #Scotland #CareerChange #FutureIsBright Stuart Miller

Great work everyone!
It was great to support Levenmouth Academy this week with there Burns Supper organised by the senior Hospitality pupils. Thanks to our students Syii Glen & Jean Melo Vieira, who were witnessing a Burns Supper for the first time. It always a pleasure to have school pupils working alongside our students; who will hopefully be inspired to join a full Professional Cookery in the future. Well done to the seniors for organising. 🏴 Fife College Business, Digital and Creative Fife College Diane Mitchell Adam F.
