Fife College is more than just a place of education; it’s a cornerstone of the community. Offering a diverse range of courses, industry links, and support services, the college plays a vital role in providing accessible learning opportunities for people across Fife. Whether it’s preparing students for their next career move, supporting local businesses, or engaging with community groups, Fife College continues to demonstrate its commitment to lifelong learning. A great example of this took place last night, when the Fife College library team generously gave their time to support Carron Troop from 39th Fife Scout Group in achieving their Librarian badge. The Scouts had a fantastic opportunity to learn about book classification, research skills, and the importance of libraries in education and everyday life. Carolyn even made them a quiz, adding an extra element of fun to the session. I genuinely love working at Fife College, where we’re not just focused on education within the classroom, but also on supporting the wider community. Being able to help groups like the Scouts access new learning experiences is incredibly rewarding, and it’s great to see the positive impact these partnerships have on young people. A special thank you to Diane, who was fantastic with the Scouts, sharing her knowledge and passion for libraries. Her guidance made the experience engaging and enjoyable, helping the young people develop skills they can take forward. Opportunities like this highlight the value of community partnerships and the difference they make to young people. Thank you, Fife College, for your continued support of local groups and lifelong learning. #FifeCollege #CommunityEducation #Scouts #LifelongLearning #SupportingYoungPeople #LibrariesMatter #SkillsForLife #EducationForAll Fife College Vicki Anton Tom MacMaster Carolyn Groom Linda Davis

An historic graduation! So proud of our NHS graduates today as they received their qualifications. Our collaboration with our partners at NHS Fife has been so fruitful. We all were emotional at today’s event. Working and studying is hard. The effort to do a qualification like this whilst working long shifts takes grit and determination. I am as proud as punch today!
