🔥A special Finc Announcement 🔥 🌏 We are proud and excited to announce Ben Mahoney has joined the wild world of recruitment 👀 Ben may be a familiar face to some of you as he comes from 12 years in Financial Crime at Barclays, Wilmington Trust and most recently China Construction Bank as their Head of KYC Onboarding. 🌙 It has been an intention for us to hire from Industry, to continue to prove ourselves as the leading specialist agency for financial crime and regulatory compliance. 🚀We are in our growing-era and hiring Ben is a bit of a pinch-us moment. 🪄 There is a bit of learning to do on recruitment, but he knows financial crime and as the kids say… has the “Rizz”. 📝As many may know a career move can be daunting – so any support you can give Ben I am sure would be grabbed with both hands. 👀 Sometimes you just got to admit you believe in fate, the universe or whatever you want to call it 👀 Here is a little magical story for your first day back ✨ ☕️ Ian and I started working together in about 2020, and in our 3rd week of working together he told me (unprompted for some reason) that his life goal was to be rich enough to open an eye hospital for those in need..🏥 I mumbled something encouraging and then decided to stay away from the crazy guy with a Scottish accent (😏) 🗓️ Cue 2022 when we start getting to know Saddaqat Khan a little better, and he humbly reveals the charity him and his wonderful wife have set up to help those in need of eye care Sight Relief ❤️ What are the chances, Ian gets close with of all people, someone who runs an eye charity? 🏃♂️Fast forward to this week. My incredible, wonderful business partner is out in Pakistan helping people and doing his dream work (with his dream girl Ronya Naim ) I have asked Ian so many times, what is is like and he has described it as heartbreaking, heartwarming, life changing and one of the most beautiful country and people he has ever been to. Hey everyone😁 A little update from me :) 🫶This has been an awesome experience. 🫶 🕶️I can’t say enough about Saddaqat Khan and Isma Tahir they are both amazing and Sight Relief is a beautiful organisation to be part of.👓 🏥In 2 days, they sorted out over 1000 people. All with eye problems, we gave out glasses and drops and have arranged surgeries for those with cataracts.🏥 We are all in a Land Rover defender about to head up north into the mountains to get to Chitral where we will continue to help those with little to no access to health care. 🤡 Is it any wonder Revolut can’t hire financial crime people for love or money (suspiciously a lot of money, if my sources are to be trusted). Unethical, lacking any customer perspective and mostly worrying Revolut seems to care so little about how the scammer accessed this customers info. Yuck.
