Roberts Wharf March Team Meeting - Key Milestones and Progress We're pleased to share significant progress updates from our Roberts Wharf project. We've installed the first spandrel panels and fire stops on Block B for inspection - we’re now putting the new and improved system back on the building! ✅ Completed: ✅Roof installations on Blocks A & B, utilising the Protan (UK) Ltd single ply system, expertly installed by. ✅SFS steel work completion across both stair cores. ✅Installation of Tobermore Mayfair graphite slabs on Block B balconies and terraces. Ongoing/Upcoming: · Installation of 6082 T6 grade aluminum C channel for the Spanwall Facades helping hand system. ·Installation of lightning rods. ·Site-wide flashings installation. ·Sheathing board and weatherproof membrane installation to support the Siderise Groupfirewall system. ·Installation of spandrel panels and fire stops on Block B. Quality Assurance: Tony Humphrey of Wintech conducted thorough micrometer checks on the panel powder coating supplied by Powdertech Corby, confirming A2 fire rating compliance (min 48, average 60, max 120 fire test). Deep Retrofit Transformation in Edgerton! 🏡🌿 We're thrilled to share the latest progress on our deep retrofit project at Glenaire Bungalow, nestled within the beautiful Edgerton Conservation Area. This project is a testament to our commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient building practices. What We've Achieved: * Reduced the height of the gable wall and moved the dormer cheek, in order to form a new pitched roof over the stairs.  * Constructed the new dormer roof, complete with new rafters and purlins, reshaping the roofline. * Introduced padstones to support new purlins and beams. * 21 Degrees ensured precise checks on all window openings, ready for next week's installation. * Replacement garage roof has been installed, including bespoke box guttering  * First fix for the Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) has commenced. Looking Forward: * Windows and external door installation. * External Wall Insulation (EWI) for enhanced thermal performance. * Ground floor insulation and airtightness works complete, following a tricky detail for wrapping around the ground floor walk in shower and wastewater recovery system. * Finalising ceiling height layouts for the staircase, including ventilation considerations. * Marking out trimmers for the central staircase VELUX window, preparing for roof insulation. * Agreeing on garage front finish details and ordering the new garage door. * Completing the sunroom floor membrane after window installation and finalizing the airtightness details. 🤝We're also proud to support the next generation of construction professionals on this project! Roberts Wharf Project Update - February 2025 Exciting progress continues at Roberts Wharf. Our second full team site inspection and progress meeting of the year highlighted the great work being done by Five Rise Contractors on this major design and build project. We're installing rainscreen cladding across 198 apartments in five high-rise blocks, and things are moving forward smoothly. Key Achievements: ✅ Roof installations on Blocks A & B, featuring the Protan (UK) Ltd single ply system by AAC Flat Roofing are now complete. ✅ We're 70% of the way through removing 150m2 of blockwork and replacing it with structural SFS. ✅ SFS installation is underway in soffit and terrace areas. ✅ The beautiful Tobermore Mayfair graphite slabs for balcony finishes have arrived on site, ready for installation. ✅ The first delivery of aluminum components from BWC PROFILES is here, with installation starting next week. Looking Ahead: * We'll be installing sheathing board with a weatherproof membrane to support the Siderise Group firewall system. * Installation of 6082 T6 grade aluminum C channel for the Spanwall Facades helping hand system is on the schedule. * Site-wide flashing measurements are being finalised for RS Facades to create CAD design drawings. * BWC Profilers will receive CAD drawings to manufacture 6082 T6 grade aluminum flashings.
