HUGELY refreshing to see a different approach from Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) and Navy Commercial to gain industry feedback regarding the feasibility of a new commercial framework to support the concept development of joint deployable modular capabilities. 🙌 Force Development Services remains at the forefront of supporting Navy Pods programme and look forward to being part this exciting journey. 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 Now is a pivotal point for not only the Royal Navy and its modular aspirations, but defence to shape Pan Defence operating – a joined up approach across all domains, allowing UK Defence to operate as an agile, lethal, capable and effective fighting force. ⚡ We are ready to respond with support from Industry partners to deliver future capabilities. #sme #modular #royalnavy #industry #collaboration #futurecapability

Tomorrow is ............................................................. ❓ World Mental Health Day. This is important ❗ World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on 10 October. This year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health is workplace mental health. The theme highlights the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities. In world that feels like its on 'fast forward' it's important to stop, check in and above all talk about your worries. Small team or big team, take time to check in on your colleagues. For us it's SUPER important, as an agile SME we work hard to respond to emerging requirements, solving problems. We regularly check in with each other to ensure people are ok, mentally and physically 🤗 Let's check in, talk and make everyones world lighter than darker. #sme #mentalhealth #support #worldmentalhealthday24

#REPMUS24 reflections.... 🤔 It was great to see first hand what can be achieved by multi national collaboration #NATO at Marinha Portuguesa - Página Oficial It was also great to see and hear about just how quickly the Portuguese Navy are procuring, trialling and #failingfast to evolve their capabilities. Ensuring they remain agile and prepared to face future threats. We've also learnt that it is vital to sit and listen with people, regardless of whether they are clients, colleagues or new introductions we have been fortunate to meet. A 5 minute conversation can offer so much if you make sure you are "actively listening, not just hearing" (credit Paul Carrick Brunson) We thrive on supporting clients, solving complex and simple issues with our engineering knowledge, creating credible products rapidly. ⚡ Come and sit in our chair and chat with us............. let us understand more and explain what we can offer to help 💡 Coffee or wine available ☕ 🍷 #weareNATO #strongertogether #uksme #innovation #listening

We are back in Blighty................................... 🇬🇧 After our spending the majority of the week amongst NATO navies at #REPMUS24 🇪🇺 We were delighted to attend and have gained much from the people we met from the Navies in attendance, as well as Industry personnel supporting the exercise. We were lucky to spend some time with Defence Leaders Oliver Whitlock talking about industry and defence engagement and the vital role they play in linking people to enable collaboration. The role drones and autonomous craft have to play in the future of naval deployments in the future is certainly interesting. The Royal Navy showcasing several drone solutions and continuing to learn and experiment using #PTBK with Michael Hutchinson MBA and Stuart More BA (Hons). Operating and supporting these future technologies requires a solution that is pan domain deployable + able to interoperate and integrate. A maritime to land projectable and capable solution, designed with the end user and operational advantage in mind. We will harness what we've learnt this week alongside our significant modular experience as a leading provider of modular solutions to the #royalnavy to shape our future modular solutions. #weareNATO #MaritimeUnmannedSystems #strongertogether #modular #sme #royalnavy
