We are very honoured to receive this award together with our brilliant partners!
⭐ We are thrilled to share that the UNITE Project—a collaboration between the #TheNationalRobotarium, Heriot-Watt University, Imperial College London, Frontier Robotics, and Fugro - was recognised with a Highly Commended award in the 'Multiparty Collaboration' category at last night's Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards, held at the Edinburgh Futures Institute! UNITE is revolutionising the offshore renewable energy sector by leveraging advanced AI and autonomous systems to enable remote inspections of offshore wind farms. This innovative approach provides a safer, more efficient, and sustainable solution for global energy providers. ⚡ 🎖️ Picking up the prize on the night from Minister for Business, Richard Lochhead MSP were Project Manager, David Morrison, Director and Co-Founder of Frontier Robotics, Jonatan Scharff Willners, Head of the Robot Motor Intelligence (RoMI) lab, Dr Carlos Mastalli and postdoctoral student Hefan Wang. A special thanks to Interface for hosting such a brilliant and inspiring event. We are incredibly proud of our team's contribution towards tackling the challenges of renewable energy and driving forward impactful change through #robotics and #AI. 🤖 🏆 Congratulations also to our colleagues at MDMC, Heriot-Watt's Medical Device Manufacturing Centre, who scooped the top prize in the same category. And to all the other nominees and winners! #robots #ArtificialIntelligence #MachineLearning #ComputerVision #HelpingIndustry #HelpingTheEnvironment #Sustainability #Innovation #OffshoreRenewables #SKEAawards #NationalRobotarium
