Brent Cross Town has the perfect Halloween activity for your little ones this half term with a FREE trail map available from the Visitor Pavilion on Claremont Road. As part of our continued work with Related Argent, Marietjie Donaldson, Maria Nicholson and the in-house marketing team this is the fourth trail we’ve created for Brent Cross Town. A huge thanks to Charlotte M. M. for creating the illustrations for the trail map and Donna Raftery for her graphic design skills. We’ve worked with Charlotte and Donna on several Garden State London projects and look forward to many more in the future. Brent Cross Town are also running a programme of fun, free events during the half-term holidays, from 26 October – 3 November. Look forward to an action-packed schedule including wall climbing, baseball at The 108, skateboarding, Halloween-themed arts and crafts workshops, family cinema sessions, and yoga and sound bath sessions for the grownups. Check out the Brent Cross Town website below for the full timetable, booking information and trail details:

Things have really hotted up in London this month and it's been great to see so many people enjoying Brent Cross Town’s Summer in the Park programme of free activities and workshops, which includes an impressive climbing wall, basketball skills with Brent Bulls, break dancing, skateboarding and much more. Throughout the sunnier months we’ve been partnering with a range of influencers from around London to promote the programme alongside The Maze — a summer-long immersive art installation located in Claremont Park. Working with developers like Related Argent allows us to play a part in providing these amazing free events to communities who truly enjoy them. We caught up with mural artist Josephine Hicks (AKA Hixxy) to film her working on a unique artwork that has now been added to The Maze. We interviewed her about her creative career and captured her at work on her vibrant contribution to the installation. Surrounded by people enjoying the park’s beautifully landscaped greenery and cold cones from local independent favourite Gussy’s Ice Cream Parlour, the vibes were high and we loved soaking up the atmosphere. Look out for an upcoming family workshops and mural installation coming to The Maze in collaboration with Global Street Art’s London Mural Festival. More soon! The Maze has been produced in partnership between Brent Cross Town and Marble.

Earlier this summer, as part of our ongoing work with the team behind Brent Cross Town, we celebrated the launch of immersive art installation The Maze by producing a film showcasing its technicolour appeal from every angle. Produced by Marble, and designed by Jimmy Bridges, The Maze’s summer-long run has included live painting from artists Amara Por Dios, Lois O'Hara and Josephine Hicks. This September, Global Street Art's London Mural Festival will further enliven The Maze, and visitors can experience it in all of its vibrant beauty until 29th September. The Maze forms part of an exciting programme of workshops, events and things to experience at Brent Cross Town this summer, and has been a great opportunity for us to reconnect with some of our favourite influencer partners, as well as finding new and brilliant voices from across London to shout about Related Argent’s impressive and ever-evolving north London development.

We had the pleasure of speaking to HWKN Architecture's Matthias Hollwich as part of our ongoing work with Art-Invest Real Estate's Dockside Canada Water workspace development. Connecting with talented creatives and communicating their vision through articles and social media content is one of the many highlights of our work.
“We're designing the next generation of office building — joyful spaces, the highest standards of sustainability and a renewed sense of community that enables people to feel and be their best,” says Matthias Hollwich, founder of HWKN Architecture, the globally celebrated practice behind Two Dockside.

Who better to help us shout about the Official Team GB King’s Cross Fanzone than the ultimate athletics fan Anya Culling? Last week we spent the day with Anya as she soaked up the atmosphere at King’s Cross while catching live coverage of the Paris 2024 Games on the big screen. As part of our ongoing work at King’s Cross, we captured content of the fanzone to be shared on all social channels. Team GB’s fanzone also offers the chance to enjoy live DJ sets, Olympic-themed activities and a programme of onstage entertainment, including Q&As and medal celebrations with Team GB’s returning athletes. Team GB might have won Gold in Paris this week, but a couple of weeks ago our eyes (and cameras) were on the keen rowers of Art-Invest Real Estate, as the team behind Dockside Canada Water joined many other faces from the world of property to take part in London Youth Rowing’s #OarsomeChallenge. The Garden State team was there to capture video content of the challenge, including the film below. Congratulations to all involved for raising more than £25,000 for this amazing cause.
It’s one week since we took to the Thames alongside tp bennett, DP9 Limited, Southwark Council, Reed Smith LLP, Arup, Gardiner & Theobald Inc., SEGRO plc, Whitby Wood, Buckley Gray Yeoman, CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield to row the 16-miles between Chiswick and Greenwich. Check out some of our highlights in this film. By taking part in the #OarsomeChallenge, we helped to raise more than £25,000 in support of London Youth Rowing, enabling them to further expand their incredible work across the UK, in which they motivate and inspire young people from disadvantaged communities, through the valuable life skills of rowing. The charity plans to expand its Active Row Programme into more schools in Dockside’s home of Southwark. Congratulations to Ciara Garratt and the team at Marble for delivering this vibrant, immersive art installation at Related Argent's Brent Cross Town. It's been great to be involved in such a brilliant project, and it goes without saying that's it's easier to produce engaging content and connect with impactful influencers when the installation looks this good! The Maze forms part of an exciting programme of workshops, events and things to experience at Brent Cross Town this summer, and we're thrilled to be working with a selection of talented content creators from across London to share it far and wide.
Set amongst 50 acres of parks and playing fields, the Brent Cross Town project aims to deliver up to 6,700 new homes, 25,000 jobs and 3 million square feet of office space, new and improved schools, retail, leisure and community infrastructure. Related Argent who are leading the project with the council sought an activation that would create a buzz for their official launch - encouraging local and periphery residents to visit the activation and consider the perks of moving to the area. The activation needed to resonate with a broad audience, capture media attention, and authentically highlight the essence of the Brent Cross Town development. In response to the challenge, we created The Maze - an artist-led immersive installation designed to engage and intrigue visitors of all ages. Throughout the summer, three incredible artists - Amara Por Dios, Lois O'Hara and Josephine Hicks are adding to the maze artwork with a series of live murals with the last one to be completed during the London Mural Festival. The launch came accompanied by live music, refreshing drinks, and opportunities for guests to capture shareable moments. 🗣 PR from Garden State London 🏡 Big thank you to David Tod & Marietjie Donaldson 🎨 Designer Jimmy Bridges 🌏 Marble team Lawrence Chichon Annabel Wilkinson Patrick Keogh

Yesterday, Garden State London captured content for Dockside Canada Water and Art-Invest Real Estate during the London Youth Rowing Oarsome Challenge, and what a day it was! Teams from across the real estate industry rowed 16 miles from Chiswick to Greenwich. I got to meet Olympic gold medalist Moe Sbihi and witness stellar rowing action from Nina Cadman, Steve Alderson, and Luka Vukotic On top of that, the day raised over £25,000 to support London Youth Rowing's efforts. Next year, I’m up for being in a boat!
Yesterday was a proud day for the Art-Invest Real Estate team behind Dockside as they took part in the #OarsomeChallenge, alongside teams from across the real estate industry including tp bennett, DP9 Limited, Southwark Council, Reed Smith LLP, Arup, Gardiner & Theobald Inc., SEGRO plc, Whitby Wood, Buckley Gray Yeoman, CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield to raise more than £25,000 in support of London Youth Rowing. The challenge saw each team take on the 16-mile row down the River Thames from Chiswick to Greenwich and the funds raised will support the work of London Youth Rowing, with the particular ambition to expand its Active Row Programme into more schools in Southwark. Alongside the delivery of Dockside, Art-Invest Real Estate has been working closely with London Youth Rowing and Southwark Council to facilitate more children and young people getting out on the water, supporting them in improving their health while developing crucial life skills. The charity is known for its work in London and across the UK to motivate and inspire young people from disadvantaged communities. Well done to Art-Invest Real Estate's Will Oakes, Luka Vukotic, Isabel Edmunds, Sarah Emery, Daniel Flüshöh, Andreas Rieger and George Fergusson. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eT-6R6Fa
