These engaging workshops make use of immersive 3D coordination tools, allowing all participants to fully visualise the module layout and installation strategy—ensuring services remain accessible and maintainable once installed. This is collaboration at its finest—multiple trades aligning on model changes and making real-time decisions to drive efficiency.

The GBE Horses are off to a flying start in Stanhope PLC’s Journey for Jobs, and we’re proud to say we are leading the race! 🏆🚴♂️🏃♂️ Our team—Cormac Lewis, mark hollis, Michael Casling, Jamie Owen, and Will Tomlinson—have had a busy week so far clocking up 306 miles running and cycling their commutes to and from work. Journey for Jobs is a six-week virtual race organized by Stanhope PLC, where teams from across the industry come together to cover 2,500 miles—the distance from Peru to Paraguay—through running, walking, cycling, swimming, and rowing. The challenge isn’t just about fitness; it’s about raising awareness and funds for the Stanhope PLC Foundation and its partner charities that break down barriers to employment and opportunity, including Maggie's Centres, St Mungo's, Construction Youth Trust, Mencap, and The Mayor’s Fund for London. Congratulations to our very own GBE Team Horsebox for securing 3rd place in the Dig Deeper 2024 event! 🏅 The team (Cormac Lewis, mark hollis, Mike Sullivan, Jamie Owen) took on a challenging 4-hour course featuring fell running, mountain biking, and paddle boarding across the stunning hills, rivers, and lakes of Lake Windermere. Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Michael Watchman to Head of Sustainability at GBE. Mike has been with us since the beginning and has played a pivotal role in the design process of some of our most prestigious projects. As a senior Engineer with a wealth of experience, Mike possesses in-depth knowledge of M&E design and its environmental impact. He is passionate about sustainability and is eager to take on the challenge of reducing GBE's carbon footprint, both operationally and through our Design for Offsite Manufacturing capabilities. He is keen to collaborate with our clients, consultants, and subcontractors to understand and calculate the embodied carbon of M&E installations, and more importantly, to explore ways to reduce this figure through early collaboration and innovative thinking.
