A busy first season for Blade Team, GEV Group's latest onshore division based in the UK & Ireland, utilizing dedicated powered platform access solutions for blade repair services. 🛠

How is drone technology being utilized to support the wind industry? 💡 Earlier this week, one of the industry's major energy companies announced the introduction of heavy-lift cargo drones for the first time in an operational offshore wind campaign. The drones are said to transport up to 100 kg of cargo and aim to help improve operational efficiency and safety while reducing carbon emissions from operating an offshore wind farm. It is another interesting development to be showcased in the wind industry, highlighting new innovative ways technology is being utilized to support the wind sector!
