𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 🌊 Recently we had the privilege of visiting 𝗗𝗮𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗿 for the wet commissioning of two of our 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝟴𝟱𝟳 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀—a DN200 and DN900. These electrically operated specialist terminal discharge valves, recently installed and now fully operational, play a vital role in aiding drawdown at this key Scottish reservoir. A standout feature of this project is the 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀, supplied and installed by Glenfield Invicta. These hoods were specifically designed to direct the powerful jet of water within the width of the downstream channel, ensuring precise flow management and protecting the surrounding environment.
