Last Friday, our Albyn Place office was buzzing with excitement during the annual Global E&C Summer Celebration BBQ. Despite a mix of sunshine and a few showers, nothing could dampen the energy of our teams! ☀️☔ Colleagues enjoyed delicious BBQ food from Hudsons Catering, refreshing beverages, and a variety of games, including Mario Kart, swing ball, table football, and golf. We even had a visit from Little Miss Whippy for some sweet treats! 🍔🍦 It was great to see colleagues coming together, building new connections, and embodying the team spirit that defines our culture at Global E&C. This event was a powerful reminder of our core values and behaviours - which define who we are and how we work together - showcasing how we live out those values in every interaction. 💪𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀: 𝗘𝗻𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱🤝 Inspiring and supporting the next generation of talent in the energy industry is an important agenda for Global E&C. That's why we were delighted to recently welcome 10 student interns from EnQuest to our Nord Facility. The visit offered a unique opportunity to highlight our operations and the strong partnership we’ve cultivated with EnQuest. The day started with a welcome breakfast, featuring insightful presentations from our team. Engineering Director, Steven Moore MBA CEng, inspired the students with career advice in the energy sector, while Strategy and BD Co-ordinator, Emma Cuthbertson, showcased our innovative capabilities. EnQuest Contract Manager, Paul Gibson, then highlighted the successful collaboration between Global E&C and EnQuest over the years.   The visit concluded with a tour of our workshops, where the interns were able to see first-hand the progress on the Local Equipment Rooms (LERs) for EnQuest's Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT) New Stabilisation Facility (NSF) project. Shutdowns and turnarounds for offshore UKCS assets typically span the summer months and, as one of the largest EPC service providers to this market, it’s an extremely busy and exciting time for our business. Supporting an average of 19 shutdowns per annum creates a peak of activity that our business embraces with agility. We scale up and react at pace to meet the demands of these projects, delivering safely, efficiently and on time for our customers. Our CEO, Terry Allan had his recent public statement captured as the headline in today's press for Energy Voice and we are proud to share it.
