Announcing a significant new partnership forged between InUni, part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), one of America's most prestigious technology and research universities. Founded in 1824, RPI is the nation's oldest technological research university, ranked number 70 in US News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges. With 32 research centres and over 746 laboratories, it has a legacy of innovation, producing Nobel laureates, pioneering scientists, and industry leaders. This collaboration reflects our Group's commitment to creating a brighter, more sustainable world through education and InUni's ambition to connect ambitious international students with one of the world's most forward-thinking institutions.

GUS Education Arizona Inc. announces the launch of Avila University Arizona (AUA), a collaborative venture with Avila University, a higher education leader with over 100 years of academic excellence. Located in Goodyear, Arizona, AUA is poised to provide high-quality education and career opportunities tailored to students' needs through in-demand MBA and MSc programmes.      Offerings include MBAs in Project Management and Healthcare Administration and MSc programmes in Technology Management. AUA’s campus features new and modern facilities and a supportive environment for international students.     We can’t wait to see the impact our students will make! 

Dr. Renate Thiébaut, Professor and Research Director of the Center for AI Governance and Ethics at Gisma University of Applied Sciences, has been named in the Women in AI Ethics™ - Top 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics 2025 awards!     A leading expert in AI regulations and ethics, particularly in the Global South, she is driving change by bridging the digital divide and addressing gender gaps in AI.     This recognition not only celebrates her impact but also showcases the exceptional expertise across the GUS Group, where our faculty continue to shape the future through research and innovation. 

We are proud to share our latest Sustainability Report, showcasing the impact from across our global network of 30 institutions. From winning Gold at the 2024 ESG & Sustainability Awards for expanding education access to women in Afghanistan, to forging strategic partnerships with Planet Mark and SustainIQ for carbon neutrality. University of Europe for Applied Sciences was recently honoured with the German Education Award 2024/2025 for Outstanding Achievements in Higher Education in the Private Universities (Universal) category.     This prestigious accolade, presented by NTV and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) - DISQ Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität GmbH & Co. KG - reflects the voice of around 38,000 German consumers, showcasing UE's dedication to its students and commitment to innovation in education.     At GUS, we celebrate this recognition of UE’s outstanding quality standards and its significant role in shaping the future of higher education. 

FutureLearn has been awarded the Gold Winner for Best ESG Campaign to Reduce Inequality at The ESG & Sustainability Awards 2024.     FutureLearn’s campaign took a bold stand against the Taliban's ban on women's higher education in Afghanistan, offering Afghan women free access to its premium digital learning platform. This initiative provides over 1,200 courses from top British universities, empowering Afghan women to continue their education despite the restrictions.     By championing educational equality and female empowerment, FutureLearn demonstrates a steadfast commitment to inclusivity and access to learning.
