The brand personality and identity we established for Chasing Rabbits is fun, light hearted and unique. We strive to ensure the visual language remains consistent throughout the customer experience which includes successfully transferring the concept work into tangible branded applications across signage, print and digital.
Way finding signage not only helps people find where they need to go, but also helps to define a clear customer journey around the space, to help minimise congestion in certain areas. For the internal signage for Chasing Rabbits, we mapped out the space to define the areas where signage is needed.
Once we knew which signs are required and where they needed to go, we designed a bespoke set of icons in keeping with the personality of the brand. In some cases, we combined the icons with a bold friendly typeface. These concept designs were then presented to our client for approval before being finalised.
Once the designs were approved, we worked closely with the signage company to develop the materials and finish for the signage before handing over our final artwork and specification to them to make the physical signs.
The external signage core function is to increase brand visibility. As well as keeping the signage ‘on brand’; colour, lighting and scale are all important factors to consider as well as being sensitive to landlord requirements and advertising consent which needs to be granted by the local authorities.
