🌳 If ash dieback is a disease that only affects #trees and poses no threat to human health, is it really a problem? 💰 The UK is expected to lose up to 90 per cent of its ash populations over next few decades, which could cost the UK £15 billion, not to mention the threat brittle trees pose to injury, and the loss of #environmental benefits like carbon sequestration. 🍃In 2022, a #survey by APSE - Association for Public Service Excellence, found that only 52 per cent of local authorities had an #ashdieback plan in place. Are #councils doing enough then? GB investigates. 👇Read the feature below https://lnkd.in/e4Ef2d3M
