Yesterday the GFF hosted another successful mini conference, this time in Nottingham, bringing together 80 #government #finance professionals in the East Midlands and beyond. Delegates were inspired by senior finance leaders including Matt Thurstan, CFO, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government; Alison Hamer ACMA FCIPD, COO, GIAA - Government Internal Audit Agency; and Adria Robinson, Finance Director, CFO Group, HM Revenue & Customs. At our specialist workshops, delegates: ● learned about the future of finance and how the GFF is adapting to emerging technology;  ● discovered how AI and data science can improve financial reporting; and  ● were empowered to plan their development using the GFF’s Career Framework to enhance capability across the Function.
