It takes us back to our recent mental health training with Devon Partnership NHS Trust, where the whole team learned how we could support each other in the office environment. Head of Corporate Affairs, Craig Lawton MCIPR, attended the Western Gateway Rail Deal launch at Hugh James Head office in Cardiff earlier this week.   Businesses, industry and politicians came together to support the plan for investment across South Wales and Western England to build new stations, add track and improve capacity in order to support the economy, communities and help decarbonise transport. Last week, John Saleh Price and Bethan Harrington from our stakeholder engagement team facilitated and hosted two public consultation drop-in events around the proposed development of the Penllergaer Solar Park, near Swansea. The solar park is being developed by Elements Green and has the potential to provide enough clean, affordable energy to meet the power needs of 19,000 homes.   Public consultations are a crucial part of the planning process for developments of national significance, like the solar park, and are part and parcel of our everyday work.   Find out more about some of the other projects we have worked on here 👇 https://lnkd.in/etvKXyum

'Net's get physical' Yesterday Clare Jones, Lydia Lisk and Beth Cole from Grasshopper helped to host, facilitate, and compete in a Women in Property Netball tournament at Sophia Garden's National Sports Centre. Teams from Arup TURLET CLAUDE, Asbri Planning, Windward, LEE HOARE LTD Blake Morgan LLP Howells Solicitors LG Williams & Prichard and Arcadis all participated in a fantastic afternoon featuring increda-ball passing, 'hoopy' hour action, wonderball footwork and block'in' like it's hot. Our Head of Corporate Affairs, Craig Lawton MCIPR, took a trip to enfinium's Parc Adfer in North Wales last week as Plaid Cymru's Rhun ap Iorwerth and Llinos Medi visited. With plans to install carbon capture and storage technology on the site to support North Wales to decarbonise its non-recyclable waste, the project could become the biggest decarbonisation hub in Wales. 📰 Its great to see so much coverage today on the Watkin Jones Group's proposed 33-storey co-living development on Custom House Street in Cardiff as it enters its public consultation phase. The exciting development could see 400 co-living apartments developed for rent on a former brownfield site right by Cardiff Central station.
