It’s inspiring to see the impressive sustainability initiatives Inntel has implemented in 2024—demonstrating a strong commitment to both environmental and social responsibility. And the momentum doesn’t stop there, with even more innovative developments planned for 2025. One standout initiative is the drive to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions through the installation of approximately 100 solar panels and four EV charging points at their Head Office ☀️🔋 Sustainability is truly embedded in Inntel’s culture, with the entire team actively involved—whether through sustainability training, volunteer days, or green teams driving fresh ideas. Last week, we hosted the latest ECOsmart Platinum Inner Circle Meeting at Church House Westminster, bringing together hotels and venues that are leading the way in sustainability♻️   The progress our Platinum venues have made is truly inspiring. Great catching up with John Stokoe, ESG Manager at Village Hotels to discuss exciting sustainability initiatives for 2025! Including the rollout of EV charging points across the group and many carbon reduction initiatives 🔋   During my visit to Village Hotels London Watford, I got to see and hear about some of their impressive efforts including:   Advanced energy management systems 👉 100% renewable electricity 👉 Elimination of plastic water bottles 👉 Replacing single-use toiletry bottles with refillable dispensers 👉 A rollout plan for 100% LED lighting 👉 Imaginative vegetarian and vegan menu options 👉 Full recycling of all food waste It’s also worth noting that Village London Watford, along with 32 other locations, holds Greengage ECOsmart Gold certification 💪🏽 The VWorks coworking space at the hotel is another standout feature, providing a flexible and sustainable workspace.
