#BrightonSEO is always a fantastic experience, an incredible chance to network and exchange opinions with some truly brilliant marketing minds 🧠 Because of this, stepping into the role of speaker for the first time this year has been not only an honour, but a chance to show my take on some of hottest topics of the year (did somebody say AI?) 🤖 Some key takeaways from my talk 🔑: 💥AI won’t take your job, but a person who knows AI will: we have already integrated AI in our everyday life, but are we using it correctly? Are we making the most out of it to create efficiencies? 🐢Focus on the slow searches: AI overviews are here, but they are 1. only showing up for around 7% of organic searches in Google and 2. Answering mostly ‘quick, on the go’ searches that barely scrap the surface. Focus on slow, purposeful searches, typed in by meaningful audiences who want to keep exploring and connect with relatable human experiences. ☝️Balance effectively human expertise with AI power to create explosive and efficient omni-channel strategies. 🌟You are the expert, and AI is just another tool in your craft, so: master it to win in the new era of search. Last but not least, behind every success there’s always a great team! I would like to thank all of my amazing colleagues who helped me brainstorm, put together the presentation, gave me some great tips on public speaking and more in general, supported me throughout this fantastic journey: special thanks to Lauren Rock-Perring, Lauren Flynn-Khutsoane, Ian Colvin, Chris Pearce, Alasdair Easton, Jane Fulcher, Tom Chapman, Sam Barker, Mac O'Donnell, Danielle Di-Tommaso, Emanuela Seminara, Bérangère Fond, and many more I’ve surely forgotten: thank you for being incredible and for believing in me! If you want to keep chatting about all things search or if you have any follow-up question on my talk, please reach out, I would love to connect! 🤙
