Founded in 2008, The BrandAlley Group includes BrandAlley.co.uk, the UK’s leading off-price premium and luxury brand e-tailer. The members-only marketplace is fashion, beauty and homeware’s best kept secret for all your favourite brands at exceptional prices, offering up to 70% off their luxury and premium brand portfolio. Launching over 10 new flash sales daily, all brands and products are carefully curated by our expert in-house buying team and we work closely with our partners to ensure we only buy based on our customer’s demands, reducing waste and maintaining our exceptional pricing. The BrandAlley Group has grown organically over the last sixteen years through successful acquisitions including Achica.com, Cocosa.com, BrandAlley France and the luxury homeware brand, Lombok. The strategic acquisition of Internet Fusion Group in April 2023 marked a significant milestone, bringing logistics and customer service in-house to enhance operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction. As part of this transaction, BrandAlley also purchased the well-known lifestyle brands Surfdome and Country Attire. The BrandAlley Group has recently made investments in circular fashion business Sign of the Times, along with the majority shareholding acquisition of The Edit LDN, a luxury sneaker resale business. These investments signify BrandAlley's journey towards becoming not just the UK’s leading off-price e-tailer, but also a major player across the wider fashion ecosystem.

    The BrandAlley Group nodded to the late summer, hosting a tennis doubles tournament at the Roehampton Club recently, inviting our brand partners to a swing of the racket at our annual end of summer party, celebrating our continued partnerships and mutual successes.    Our guests enjoyed a tennis tournament with sporting legend Pat Cash, an inspiring speech from our CEO, Rob Feldmann, live music from The Rolling Stoics and delicious canapes & cocktails.    A very big thank you to our sponsors Shopify, Emarsys and Catalyst as well as The Retail Summit who organised the event in the iconic sunken club gardens - and to all of our guests who joined us for our end of summer feast!

    Last Thursday evening, The BrandAlley Group hosted its annual end-of-summer party. As a thanks to all of our employees for their hard work through a busy first half of the year, we went to Plonk Shoreditch for a night of crazy golf, arcade games & delicious gourmet hotdogs!   All employees play an important role in driving BrandAlley's success, so the party afforded us an opportunity to applaud our staff and, equally, our achievements as a group. It was a great way to support team bonding and celebrate our successes in a slightly different social setting away from the office – and to say farewell to the great British summer!

    Last week was Mental Health Awareness Week and The BrandAlley Group came together to have important discussions around supporting and improving the mental health of our employees and those around us. As this year's theme for Mental Health Awareness Week was movement, The BrandAlley Group had a number of initiatives to support the cause. Our primary initiative was the ‘Walk 300km with BrandAlley’ Strava challenge, where both the London Head Office and our Kettering Fulfilment Centre walked a collective 300km for the charitable cause.   Furthering the ‘movement’ theme, we held a ‘Walk on Wednesday’ where employees and office pooches alike enjoyed a walk in the London sunshine. We also wore green to mark Wear It Green Day, followed by a bake sale to raise money for The Mental Health Foundation. Driving the conversation around mental health is very important to us as an organisation and we'll continue to reflect, share experiences and offer help to those who need it.     We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a majority stake in luxury sneaker & fashion platform The Edit LDN. At BrandAlley, we are laser-focused on our long-term vision to include sustainability and circularity within our business in a meaningful way, as well as using innovative new channels to maximise customer experiences. Additionally, The Edit LDN provides the opportunity for us to tap into a more youthful customer demographic and their substantial community of engaged followers. This acquisition follows recent sustainable investments, including our own logistics operation and a stake in luxury resale platform, Sign of the Times. Rob Feldmann, CEO of BrandAlley, commented: “With our 8 million strong members-only database, our own dedicated in-house warehouse operations and customer service team, we are confident we can provide full operational support across our group of companies and drive profitable growth of The Edit LDN globally through Moses and his team. We are looking forward to an exciting journey ahead.’’   The Edit LDN has grown at an exponential rate since its inception in 2020 but major macro headwinds in 2023 have shaken the industry. Companies like Farfetch and Matches have experienced difficult and crunch trading periods in the 2023 economic downturn. The Edit LDN, too, faced cash flow constraints in the last quarter of 2023. To remain operational and resilient, The Edit LDN took the decision to consolidate with an industry leader. The luxury reseller platform will be restructured through a formal process and operate within BrandAlley’s back-end infrastructure as it becomes profitable during its next growth phase.    Moses Rashid, CEO of The Edit LDN commented: “Although 2023 was another year of positive growth and revenue, it has been a difficult period with financial challenges being accelerated by external funding sources that we had on our creditor books. In order to continue to achieve our growth goals, it was crucial to act fast to find a long-term partner who sees the potential to take Edit LDN global and offers the operational infrastructure required for sustainable growth. I see this fit with Rob and his Executive team at BrandAlley. This move will bring confidence to our community, suppliers and the reseller industry as a whole.”   The alignment combines The Edit LDN's ability to curate exclusive, high-end streetwear and sneakers with our expertise of providing premium and luxury brands at competitive prices. This synergy will result in an expansive product offering that caters to a diverse range of style preferences and budgets and opens The Edit LDN to a much wider premium audience.
