🗣️ One step closer to project completion at Track 2000 🥳 We're pleased to announce that the timber frame structure for the project is now complete, marking a major milestone in the construction process. With roof coverings approaching completion, the building is becoming weathertight, allowing internal trades to commence work. This progress brings us closer to the next exciting phase, where the interior spaces will begin to take shape. Contracts Manager, Matthew Hall, has the following words to add, "We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Hafod for entrusting Hale Group with this project. It is a pleasure to bring this vision to life and we look forward to delivering a high-quality development together. Exciting times ahead."

This month we're casting the spotlight on sub-contractor C2 Groundworks Limited for their excellent works to date at our Myrtle Close Extra Care Scheme, for Wales & West Housing. Contracts Manager, Geraint Thomas, has been blown away 🌬️ by C2's installation of a complex large retaining wall, and their overall commitment towards the project. Well done all at team C2! 👏

As the year 2024 draws to a close, we would like to extend our thanks to our valued clients, Hale team, sub-contractors, and consultants, who have each contributed towards our business success this year. We wish you all a Merry Christmas, and look forward to continuing this collaborative journey in 2025. Our business will be closed from midday today, and will re-open on the 3rd January.

Our Christmas Reindeers have been busy volunteering at Raven House Foodbank this week. Joining our Longmeadow client, Newport City Homes, the day comprised of arranging Christmas food parcels for users of the service.

Another energy-efficient Hale scheme completed in time for residents to move in to their new homes ahead of Christmas! 18 new homes at Close Yr Osaf, St Athan, have been handed across to Wales & West Housing. Thank you to our Hale team, WWHA, valued supply chain, and consultants, who have all made the scheme possible.

Today marks a key milestone for the Team at our Ladyhill development, as all 39 low-carbon homes have now reached Practical Completion, and have been handed over to Pobl Group ♻️🏘️. Matthew Hall and Canaan Beasley have been on hand to support Julie Page and Gerry Gill (GLF) with settling the new families into their wonderful new homes, all in time for Christmas 🎄🎅. We are incredibly proud of the finished scheme, and think the design blends in beautifully amongst the Lliswerry community.

Today our Track 2000 development welcomed LABC Warranty and Building Control, along with Premier Guarantee and Building Control inspectors, visiting from across Wales for a tour of the site. The group last visited towards the end of 2023, when piling and basement were ongoing. The project has made significant progress since, with timber frame erection nearing completion 🪵 🌳. Finishing touches are being carried out over the next few weeks, completing 18 new homes at Gileston Road, St Athan. The properties for Wales & West Housing benefit from solar PV panels ☀️ and Air Source Heat Pumps. These features provide the new properties with an EPC A energy-efficiency rating, providing greener energy for the new tenants ♻️. Mael Spencer
