This exciting project sees us partner with Rescape Innovation Ltd, Universal Music Group, and Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd! January saw another 10 colleagues join the trial, that's 40 Hafod colleagues helping us learn how music and VR can play a role in supporting wellbeing and helping with mental health issues. “As a people-focused business, our colleagues are central to what we do. Those in our frontline teams experience emotional fatigue and, at times low wellbeing. Being part of this project might help us unlock something game-changing.” - Jamie Smith, Director of Research and Innovation at Hafod You can read more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/e25pvDWE #Innovation #VR #Wellbeing #MentalHealth #MusicTherapy
Universal Music Group + Rescape. Music + VR!! Today, we are able to announce a partnership with Universal Music Group, allowing us to explore how music and VR can be combined to help with anxiety and other mental health issues. We've been working on this project for some time, and a trial, run by Kim Smallman at Cardiff Uni and Hafod, is in progress - initial findings have made the entire team really excited about the power of music when combined with VR. James Healy, Universal Music Group "This new collaborative study which combines UMG’s music catalogue and virtual reality unlocks a new avenue in the treatment of anxiety, and we hope will make a real difference to people’s lives.” https://lnkd.in/eyZP3Yjk #tech4good #VR #mentalhealth
