We’re pleased to share that planning has been submitted for the Frimley Extra Care Development, a visionary project by Sagehaus Living. Designed for residents aged 65+ with assessed care needs, the scheme will provide 49 extra care units centred around a vibrant community hub, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens. With a strong focus on biophilic design, the development integrates nature to enhance well-being, featuring communal gardens, walking paths, and light-filled spaces. Sustainability is at the heart of the project, using Modern Methods of Construction and renewable energy to reduce environmental impact. Loen House will be repurposed into a central hub, offering 24-hour care, a bistro, and communal spaces to foster connection and reduce isolation. This marks a significant step in delivering sustainable, high-quality housing for older residents, and we look forward to bringing this vision to life. We are thrilled to announce that our project, the Black Timber House, has been nominated for the South Downs National Park Design Awards in the Residential category. Following the success of the inaugural awards in 2019, the Design Awards return to celebrate exceptional contributions to landscape, heritage, built environments, and local communities. Nestled in the heart of the South Downs, this striking new build features charred black timber cladding, large picture windows, and a design that harmonises with its natural surroundings.
