Last week, we welcomed the Yorkshire Building Society team to the Malthouse for a social strategy and creative session. During our time together, we took them through our new approach and then split them off into teams to go create their own social content - with a time limit of under an hour from concept to final edit! Needless to say, everyone performed well under pressure. Thank you to our attendees for bringing great enthusiasm (and willingness to get in front of the camera!). Richard Bassinder, Lauren Tavernier, Ellen Harrison, Sam Whitton, Dominic Craig, Sophie Entwistle, Lewis Georgiou, Janet Ridsdale - Bassra, Lee Crags, Amy Wood And thank you to our IMA team for putting on such a great session. Great to see our Managing Director Alex Uprichard chat about what the IPA means to IMA! 👏
Why are so many UK agencies members of the IPA? We asked some of our members - Genesis Belfast's Helen Blakley, MG OMD's Kat Bozicevich, The Gate London's Charlotte Wolfenden, IMA's Alex Uprichard, The Behaviours Agency - Certified B Corp®'s Sue Benson and Anything is Possible's Sam Fenton-Elstone - what being part of the IPA means to them. Whoever you are there's an IPA for you, so find out more at: https://lnkd.in/etE3JGyT

A morning of style, substance, and inspiration! ✨ This morning, Lucy and India from our Events Team had the pleasure of attending the Style & Substance Brunch at The Cut & Craft Restaurants in celebration of International Women’s Day. It was such an insightful morning, filled with meaningful conversation and an incredibly empowering room of women. Hearing from Bay Garnett on personal style, sustainability, and her role in bringing thrifting into the mainstream and Sarah Clark's honest talk around careers sparked important conversations about balance, ambition, and resilience. A huge thank you to Victoria Leeds for hosting such a fantastic event—and for the delicious brunch, of course! #IWD #SustainableFashion #WomenSupportingWomen

The 2025 International Women’s Day theme is ‘Accelerate Action’ which emphasises the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. At IMA, we have always had a number of initiatives in place which allow us to take proactive action to support women in the workplace. But, we are also continuing to learn and grow with our team, improving our existing initiatives and developing new ones, in line with feedback from our colleagues. By adapting to support their needs, we can enable staff to thrive both personally and professionally – and that’s something we’re committed to all year round. Here’s just a few things that we’re doing right now. - We have maternity playbooks to support our staff in their journey into parenthood, whichever route that takes. This includes providing IVF, Neonatal and Pregnancy loss support guides - We offer enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave, including phased returns to work - We have an on-going partnership with Careers After Babies - As an agency, we have committed to flexible working and leave policies to ensure we are a family-friendly workplace - We're offering proactive support and learning opportunities about the menopause for all staff, including menopause meet ups where staff can come together to have supportive conversations with experts - Free access to More Happi coaching to help staff fulfil their potential. This services offers specialised coaches for women looking to progress in their careers and support them with juggling life and work - Ensuring that all bathrooms in our offices have access to free period products - Offering all staff our ‘Life Moments’ initiative whereby they can take time off for those key life events, such as picking up the keys for their new house or attending their child’s nativity #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction
