Yesterday, two of our Endometriosis Champions, Helen Willmore and Helena Smith, attended the Menstrual Health in the Workplace event, hosted by Endometriosis UK in London. They enjoyed an insightful day filled with valuable information, real-life experiences, and discussions on how menstrual health impacts people in the workplace. They returned with plenty of ideas and key takeaways that we’ll be exploring at InHealth to enhance support available for colleagues affected by female health and menstrual health conditions. Next week, our Endometriosis Champions will be leading a staff wellbeing session with reflections about the impact of menstrual health conditions on the workforce, as well as the steps that we can take as team members and managers to improve support for those affected. This month marks the 1 year anniversary of our Liverpool Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), and what a year it has been! Since opening our doors, we have proudly supported well over 2,000 private patients, playing a crucial role in their health diagnoses. This milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of our incredible team, and we couldn't be prouder of what we've accomplished together. The Liverpool CDC team enjoyed a team event last month that combined a belated Christmas gathering, with this important anniversary milestone! Celebrating International Women’s Day at InHealth! This weekend, we’re proud to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) and show our support in many ways - including a special IWD logo in solidarity! But more than that, we’re continuously working to champion and empower the incredible women across InHealth, from our colleagues to the service users we support every day. We’re especially proud of our colleague-led Women’s Health Project Team, a passionate group dedicated to making women’s health a priority. From menopause to fertility and everything in between, we’re exploring ways to better support employees facing women’s health-related challenges. Last month, we proudly joined the Endometriosis Friendly Employer Scheme in partnership with Endometriosis UK, strengthening our commitment to workplace support in the women’s health space. This week, we’re hosting a Women in Leadership webinar - a panel discussion led by our colleagues and female allies, covering topics like career development, role models, and leadership at InHealth. As part of our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion strategy, we publish an annual Gender Pay Gap Report because transparency and progress matter. With 67% of our workforce being women, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. Ramadan Kareem from InHealth! This week marks the start of the holy month of Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide. With more than 3,500 colleagues from over 60 countries, we recognise that we all have different backgrounds and beliefs...and they need celebrating!   For the first time ever, we’re excited to host two colleague-led ‘open Iftar’ events at two of our InHealth locations! These gatherings are open to all colleagues, whether they observe Ramadan or not, providing an opportunity to come together, share a meal, and embrace the spirit of the occasion.   As giving back to the wider community are key aspects of Ramadan, we are also using this opportunity to raise important funds for our nominated charity of the year, Parkinson's UK. By raising funds for Parkinson’s UK, our colleagues will make an impact and support the spirit of charity that is central to this holy month.   Not only have our staff organised these two exciting Iftar events, but we have also arranged InHealth-wide wellbeing sessions to explore Ramadan practices, offering support to those participating and encouraging others to foster a better understanding.   This month and every one after, we are committed to promoting inclusive language and gestures during the holy month of Ramadan. Here's some handy tips that aim to empower our Muslim work colleagues during Ramadan: 🌙 Why not wish your colleague a Happy Ramadan or Ramadan Kareem? It is a simple gesture, but so appreciated 🌙 Keep it positive! Share positive affirmations with your Muslim peers supporting their commitment to their faith 🌙 Be flexible and considerate. With activity in our PET-CT service busy as ever, we’re delighted to welcome Peter and Roisin (Rosheen) as Business Development Directors for PET-CT services to the team, as they embark on a new journey with InHealth, supporting ongoing growth and opportunities. Joining our already well-established PET-CT service, which most recently saw the arrival of Richard Evans, Darren Ramen and Kelly Shaw, they will add industry-leading expertise and knowledge to all-things PET-CT and we’re very excited to welcome them. With state-of-the-art mobile units, a world-first relocatable Radioligand Therapy service and a network of imaging centres across the country, our PET-CT services support more and more patients this year, and 2025 is no exception!
