Congratulations to Sue Harvey, Clinical Outcomes and Information Lead, who has won an award at the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) awards for the “Promotion of PHIN”. Sue works relentlessly behind the scenes, travelling to our hospital sites to educate, support and enhance the work we carry out to collect our PROMs data (Patient Reported Outcome Measures). This information provides an indication of the outcomes and quality of care we deliver to our patients. Sue has previously won a PHIN “Star Performer” award in 2022 for Data Quality Improvement. “I am thrilled to have received this award, and it is a true testament to the dedication of our teams across all our hospitals. Their commitment to providing the highest quality of care, day in and day out, ensures that our patients receive the best possible treatment, helping them on their path to recovery and enabling them to return to living life to the fullest”.

We're excited to announce we have been nominated for two Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) awards at the upcoming Quality Forum! The first one is our fantastic hospital in Kettering, Woodland, for the 'best use of PHIN data'. The team implemented a process to review patient outcomes feedback in near to real time, including an action register to follow up with patients. The second is for Sue Harvey, Ramsay's Clinical Quality Partner, for working relentlessly behind the scenes travelling to many of our 34 hospital sites to educate, support and enhance current work on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). We're incredibly proud of the team's hard work and dedication to improving patient outcomes, and we look forward to celebrating these achievements. Best of luck to all the nominees!

Newly elected Member of Parliament for Torbay, and Liberal Democrat Work and Pensions Spokesperson Steve Darling MP has visited Ramsay Health Care UK’s Mount Stuart Hospital to see the work of the hospital to deliver for patients across Devon and the wider South West. Steve said, “It was a pleasure to visit Mount Stuart Hospital. The positive culture and commitment from staff shone through the visit. This health facility plays a significant role in supporting Torbay’s NHS offer.
