A brilliant event to be part of – thanks to LBBonline - Little Black Book, the fantastic industry experts who took to the stage throughout the day, and all the attendees 🩷 As Chloe mentions below, a wide range of fascinating themes were touched upon during Better Together, including the evolution of the client-agency dynamic and the new levels of trust that are being placed in agency partners, highlighting the importance of long-standing relationships. For us, it’s great to be leading the change when it comes to innovative new models of content creation, which our CEO Andrew Swinand discussed during his panel towards the end of the day 🚀 #WeAreITG
Yesterday I attended the LBBonline - Little Black Book "Better Together" event and what a fab day it was. The day kicked off with a panel talk covering "what the market looks like right now?" with Matt Cooper, Alex Brownsell and Sarah Virani. Alex shared some valuable insights including 44% of ad spend is shared across just 3 platforms (Alphabet, Amazon and Meta), and that digital ad spend will continue to increase 20% YOY. This is huge amounts of ££ and highlights brands will need even more content than ever before. The second panel of the day covered "what modern brands really need?" with Simon Valcarcel, Ben Curtis, Kate Wall, Lindsay Barrett and Laura Swinton. The theme of their conversation was around trust, loyalty and working in long standing relationships with agency partners. These themes was further continued in the conversation in the 3rd panel. Patrick Murphy discussed how brands should leverage assets and the lifecycle of an asset. Grainne Wafer presented how Diageo have reignited the brand and that everything they do must follow the mantra "the quality of our advertising must be equal to the quality of our beer". It was mind blowing to see how the brand has transformed and continuing to innovate moving forward. It was interesting to listen to Matt Watson, Natalie Graeme, Chris Gallery and Carlo Cavallone discussing how agencies are evolving both in-house and externally. Collaboration seems to be key throughout! The final panel of the day saw Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) very own Andrew Swinand, Amina Folarin, Emma Harman, Rochelle Palmer and Aiden Darné discussing successful new models for the industry. A very insightful and enjoyable day had by all 💭 👏
