Last month, we hosted our partners Komatsu UK Ltd at Stockton Town FC for the annual Katmex Cup, with the goal of bringing the trophy back to Katmex for the first time. While the Assembly Team from Komatsu ran away as winners, it was a fantastic event for all involved. Thank you to all who played their part, and we look forward to a rematch in 2025! Second Week of Service Training at KUK! We just wrapped up an incredible second week of Service Training at KUK! This week, we had the pleasure of hosting engineers and technicians from our French distributors, along with Komatsu employees. Our focus was on medium-sized excavators, providing an in-depth look at hydraulic systems, Stage 5 engines, and machine electrics. We also covered Intelligent, Electric, and Hybrid excavators, with all content translated into French to ensure a seamless learning experience. A special highlight was the detailed investigation of hydraulic diagrams, which gave attendees a deeper understanding of the functionality of each component part. The week concluded with an inspiring factory tour of the Birtley site and a viewing of the fantastic HB365-3 in Williams livery. 🚜 Attendee Feedback: "That was a really good experience thanks to Ian, the training team, and KUK!" A big thank you to everyone involved in making this training session a success. Your dedication and hard work are what make these events truly valuable!

Training on the K100 Ultra Quick Boom Change System! Over the past three days, engineers and technicians from distributors in the United Kingdom, Slovenia, and Spain, along with Komatsu Europe employees, attended a comprehensive service course on the innovative K100 Ultra Quick Boom Change System. This state-of-the-art system, designed by KUK, enables operators to swiftly change work equipment used in high reach demolition directly from the cabin. During the course, attendees delved into the new components of this system, gaining in-depth knowledge of their structure, function, and operation. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing enthusiasm about applying their new skills in their respective regions. We are thrilled about the potential this training unlocks and look forward to seeing the remarkable advancements our teams will achieve! #creatingvaluetogether

Komatsu UK Ltd Purchasing Department Completes Yorkshire 3 Peaks Charity Challenge! We are delighted and very proud to confirm that on Saturday 13th July the Purchasing team at Komatsu UK Ltd completed the charity challenge event – the Yorkshire 3 Peaks! The walk was extremely challenging. They covered over 25 miles starting and finishing in Ribblehead, climbing the three peaks of Whernside (736M), Ingleborough (723M), and Pen-y-ghent (694M). Their walking time was 8 hours and 35 minutes, with a total elapsed time of 10 hours and 27 minutes. It was a brilliant effort from the whole team, filled with hard work, sweat, laughs along the way, and most importantly, no significant injuries—only sore, blistered feet and aching legs. We are thrilled to share some images that were captured along the way. When we set the challenge, we had hoped to raise £3,000. However, thanks to your support, generosity from friends, family, and business partners, so far the total, exclusive of gift aid, stands at over £5,400 for this year’s chosen charity, Oasis Community Housing. It is a phenomenal amount of money. On behalf of the whole team, thank you so much for all your support and donations. We will keep our fundraising page open for a few more days, so anyone who has not yet donated and would like to contribute still has time. https://lnkd.in/eMwEdGnK Once again, well done to all involved and on behalf of the Purchasing team, thank you again for your support.
