🌲🏃♂️ Kielder Marathon Triumph! 🏃♀️🌲 Three of our dedicated and fearless team members, Jane Hodgson, Tom Campbell, and Justin Eger, took on the formidable challenge of the Kielder Marathon this year, achieving incredible results and making us all proud! For Tom and Justin, it was their first attempt at this distance – and they conquered it with grit and determination. Huge congratulations to both for taking on this milestone! Jane Hodgson returned to the Kielder Marathon for the first time in 13 years since her impressive 2011 victory, where she was the first woman to cross the finish line. Jane was invited back as part of a sustainability initiative led by NWG (Northumbrian Water Group), offering past winners a chance to plant trees in “Winner’s Row,” a special area by the lake that will create a lasting legacy and help rejuvenate Kielder’s breathtaking forest. The marathon was no small feat, but Jane pushed through, finishing with an astounding time of 3:16:05, once again crossing the line as the first woman! After the presentation, Jane and the other winners planted their trees on “Winner’s Row,” leaving a permanent mark on Kielder’s landscape.
