At Load Monitoring Systems, we go above and beyond to help others both professionally and personally.    On 14th September, Mary Hunter is braving the cold waters of Loch Morlich to swim 750m to raise money for The Western General Edinburgh Breast Cancer unit.    A charity close to her heart, their oncologists and nurses provide invaluable care to patients as well as undertaking vital research.   We are hugely proud of Mary’s efforts supporting such a fantastic cause.    If you would like to donate or find out more, please click on the links below. Welcoming Team AREG to LMS HQ We were visited by Shona Teale, Operations Manager at Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG), as we recently joined their growing member base! It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our daily operations and give her a tour of our premises. The highlight of the visit? Our workshops, of course 😉 Shona got a first-hand look at our high-quality products and witnessed our team in action, inspecting and packing high-quality intelligent lifting equipment ready for shipping to diverse industry sectors worldwide. We also showed her some of our latest innovations, including the new 2000 Tonne Compression Vertical Test Bed, which was partly funded following collaboration with Energy Transition Zone Ltd and the Challenge Fund pilot scheme in 2023. As if that wasn't exciting enough, having Kirk Anderson and Millar Kennedy as tour guides added a bit of fun to the LMS tour. Kings Award for International Trade: Certificate Presentation This week we had the pleasure of welcoming the Lord Lieutenant to our office, on this occasion to present us with the Kings Award certificate, signed by HM King Charles III. This is the last stage of what was a remarkable success for LMS, presented with the award just over 12 months ago. It was another opportunity for our team to reflect on what was a very proud moment, being awarded one of the UK's most prestigious business awards and receiving such recognition for our achievements in international trade, all testament to the hard work, dedication and excellence of our team.
