🚀 What a fantastic week for Newham Data! We were thrilled to partner with Girls in Data at Plashet School, where Year 14 girls preparing to choose their GCSE subjects were given an insightful session on careers in tech. The amazing Nikisha and Adrian showed the students just how accessible tech careers can be, busting myths along the way: ✅ You don’t need a university degree ✅ Coding isn't a must ✅ Communication skills are key in tech! Huge thanks to everyone for making this happen! Meanwhile, our small business community had a brilliant afternoon at the UCL East Campus in the Olympic Park, where they heard from a seasoned CTO on how to build a successful online business. It was an inspiring session that ended with live pitches from budding entrepreneurs. Thank you to our partners Cognizant, Girls in Data, and UCL for continuing to provide such impactful sessions for Newham's young people and businesses!

About us
London is moving east and Newham is at the centre of that change. Just three miles east from the City and well connected to major transport links, we are the future of the capital in terms of regeneration and opportunities. We are home to one of the UK’s youngest and most ethnically diverse populations. We offer unique opportunities for both professionals and residents. We are a great place to do business, a great place to visit, and a great place where people choose to live, work and stay.
