Everlane appoints new CEO 👏 The US-based sustainable fashion brand has announced the appointment of Alfred Chang to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Chang joins the retailer from the luxury streetwear brand, Fear of God, where he also served in the CEO role. He previously had a seventeen-year tenure at PacSun where he ultimately became the co-CEO. At Everlane, he will work closely with founder Michael Preysman, who will continue as Executive Chairman and Climate Lead of the apparel brand. Chang takes over from Andrea O'Donnell, who has been the CEO of Everlane since 2021 and has departed to join the US footwear company, Designer Brands. LVMH sells Off-White Off-White, the streetwear brand founded by the late designer Virgil Abloh, has been sold by its current owners, LVMH, to the New York-based brand management company, Bluestar Alliance, for an undisclosed fee. LVMH owned a 60% stake in the brand and the sale marks a pivotal moment for Off-White, with Bluestar Alliance known for its focus on consumer brands and commercialisation. Bluestar Alliance adds Off-White to its already wide portfolio of brands including Hurley, Scotch & Soda, Catherine Malandrino, and Nanette Lepore.
