Speaker Announcement for SMS25📢 SMDH would like to welcome Dan Bradley, Technical Director of Sustainable Smart Technologies Ltd as a speaker. 👏🌠 More about Dan: Dan started his career in academic research, after receiving his doctorate in electrochemistry from the University of Manchester, he transitioned into project management, serving as program manager for a €4.8M civil engineering research project, funded by the European Commission. He has over a decade of experience in R&D management. He has also worked as a technology consultant and as a research fellow for the UK Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. Dan joined Sustainable Group following its acquisition of IoT Horizon Ltd in 2024. As Technical Director for Sustainable Smart Technology, Dan works to deliver IoT and smart buildings projects for clients from multinationals and social landlords, to schools and entertainment venues. Norman is an experienced consultant providing innovation support in the UK and globally, with a deep understanding of academia, industry, and government. Currently, he chairs the Board of LEDCOM, a charitable economic development company serving Larne and Ballyclare in SE Antrim. Norman recently assumed the chairmanship of the UK-wide industry steering group for the Smart Manufacturing Data Hub project led by UU. His extensive leadership includes past roles in steering groups such as the NI Advanced Engineering and Composite Centre, now part of the Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Centre. A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Irish Academy of Engineering, Norman contributes pro bono to the Academy's Enterprise Hub and international initiatives focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
