🌟 This week at the Innovate UK Materials and Manufacturing Showcase, we demonstrated the #inclusive power of robotics and teleconferencing - #hybrid exhibitions. 🤖 We partnered with Hutech Robotics to deploy their army of #BellaBots, autonomous mobile robots (#AMRs), who transported our online audience across the exhibition floor. The online delegates were able to communicate directly with our in-person exhibitors, #enabling powerful, #global connectivity. 🌍 🔗 The Innovate UK Business Connect online hosts played a key role in #facilitating the tours #remotely - they had full control of the BellaBots offsite and visit exhibition stands of the audience's choosing. Today, I had the opportunity to virtually attend the Materials and Manufacturing Showcase 2025 from the comfort of my kitchen. Thanks to the impressive technology deployed by Innovate UK, I was able to visit each booth and engage with exhibitors through robots that toured the stands on our behalf. It felt like a sightseeing tour, where instead of stepping off the bus to explore, the robot connected us directly with exhibitors, allowing us to ask questions in real time. A brilliant way to make events more inclusive and accessible! We also had the chance to network with other attendees via the platform used for communication, further enhancing collaboration opportunities within the industry. This type of innovation is truly transforming how we participate in events. Imagine the potential for this approach across other sectors!
